Bonita Shop – Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to feel confident and happy with every Bonita purchase. While we don’t offer refunds for change of mind, we do honour our obligations under Australian Consumer Law to ensure you're treated fairly if something goes wrong.


Change of Mind Policy

Bonita Shop does not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including:

  • Choosing the wrong colour, style, or size

  • Deciding the product isn’t what you expected after delivery

All product measurements and details are clearly listed on our website to help you choose the best fit for your needs.


Returns for Faulty or Damaged Items

We accept returns only if the product is:

  • Faulty, damaged, or

  • Significantly different from the description

To request a return:

  • Email macarena@bonitashop.com.au within 10 days of receiving your order

  • Include your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief explanation

  • Item must be unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in original packaging

Once your return is approved, we’ll provide return instructions.


Return Shipping Costs

  • For orders under $200 AUD, the customer is responsible for return postage

  • For approved returns, we issue a store credit or voucher (excluding shipping costs)

  • Discounted or sale items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund


Shipping Protection for Lost Parcels

Australia Post occasionally experiences delays or lost parcels. To protect your order:

  • Add Shipping Protection at checkout

  • If your parcel is lost and you purchased Shipping Protection, we’ll resend your order at no cost or offer a full refund after Australia Post has declared the item lost via a written email.

  • If Shipping Protection was not selected, unfortunately we cannot offer replacements or refunds for lost parcels. We will always try to get a refund from Australia Post and whenever that is possible we will refund the customer accordingly to what Australia Post has refunded to Bonita Shop (for purchases over $100, if shipping protection was not purchased Australia Post might refund only up to $100). Please note returns can take up to 2 months.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Worn or washed headwear

  • Gift cards

  • Final sale items

  • Custom or personalised orders


Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed to your original payment method

  • Please allow a few business days for your bank to complete the transaction
